The Post Graduate Department of Economics in association with the Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy are organising a UGC Sponsored National Seminar on ‘The Post-Recession Economic Environment Economic Policies of the New Government & Investment Climate in India’, 6th & 7th August 2015.

As you are aware the new Government in India has brought in sweeping changes in the economic environment of our country which has far reaching impact on commerce, business, trade, industry, capital markets, financial markets, service sector and even the rural economy. This, we feel, is the apt time to assess the economic policies of the new government as it completes one year in power.

A brochure of the seminar is attached. An indicative list of topics are given in the brochure, but any paper related to the broad theme of the seminar is welcome. A delegate registration form is also attached.

May we request your good self to contribute a research paper for the seminar.

May we also request you to motivate your research scholars and Post Graduate Students to contribute research papers.

Last date for registration without paper:  31.7.2015

Registration fee: Rs. 250 (all categories other than PG students). There is no registration fee for Post Graduate Students – attach a certificate from HOD.  Registration fee may be sent by a DD favouring ‘Principal, Sacred Heart College’ payable at Chalakudy.
